Correspondence: Drawing Symposium 2023
Join us for our 2023 symposium exploring the special place drawing has in the conversations between artists about their work.
The National Centre for Drawing’s 2023 symposium is based on this correspondence between artists and their ideas, and how drawing helps elucidate them. It celebrates the special role drawing plays in connecting people, thought, times and places.
‘Correspondence’ presents four very different pair of artists who have established dialogues across distances. They will share their perspectives on the common ground discovered through this dialogue, shed light on the role of drawing in their practice and speak about the drawings that inspire them.
Hosted in the National Art School’s historic Cell Block Theatre, you are invited to attend either in person or online.
