The British School at Rome

Congratulations to Fiona Currey Billyard (NAS MFA 2023), the 2027 recipient of the British School at Rome Residency. 

Made possible through the generosity of our donors, particularly Jennifer Dowling, this three-month residency offers the opportunity to live and work in Rome within an interdisciplinary research community. The British School at Rome is a centre of excellence supporting the arts, humanities and social sciences across the Mediterranean. Located in Valle Giulia, just north of Rome’s historic centre, it sits between the Parioli district and the Borghese Gardens. 

The Onslow Storrier NAS Residency, La Cité Internationale Des Arts, Paris 

Congratulations to the 2027 recipients of the Onslow Storrier NAS Residency, a three-month studio residency at La Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, awarded to a National Art School Graduate or Academic Staff Member and made possible through the generosity of Annette Onslow and Tim Storrier. 

January – March: Sadie Whelan, NAS BFA 2021, NAS MFA 2025 

April – June: Justin Roche, NAS BFA 2019, NAS MFA 2022 

July – September: Digby Wigney, NAS BFA 2019, NAS MFA 2021 

October – December: David Horton, NAS MFA, Acting Co-Head of Sculpture 

The residency provides each artist with the opportunity to develop their practice in one of the world’s great artistic centres. The Studio is located on Rue de L’Hôtel de Ville in the 4^th arrondissement, overlooking the River Seine and within walking distance of Notre-Dame Cathedral, commercial galleries and major cultural institutions. La Cité Internationale des Arts is home to more than 270 studios, bringing together artists, musicians and writers from around the world.
