NRW Screening of WINHANGANHA
5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and reflect on how each of us can contribute to reconciliation in Australia. The NRW 2026 theme, All In, makes clear that reconciliation is not a spectator sport and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change. As part of the National Art Schools NRW program, we invite you to a special screening of WINHANGANHA (2023). The evening will include an introduction from Kristen Sharp and a brief foreword by the artist. Light snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided.
WINHANGANHA, a Wiradjuri word that can be translated to ‘remember, know, think’ in English, is a lyrical journey of archival footage and sound, poetry and original composition, told through the lens of acclaimed Wiradjuri artist, Jazz Money.
Event Proceedings:
5.30 – Acknowledgement from John Waight, Head of First Peoples
5.35 – Introduction from Dr Kristen Sharp
5.40 – Film screening commences
