Samantha Klein

Samantha Klein is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores finding as a process of meaning-making. Their work explores readymade narratives within the everyday environment, redirecting attention from the conventional art object toward the poetry embedded in our surroundings. This found-poetry is presented in playful, unpredictable and inventive assemblages of found objects, considering the associations of objects and their potential to function as narrative elements. Their practice models that reflection and rumination can be elicited from anything and everything. The work invites a heightened attentiveness to ordinary objects and events, generating a sense of reverence for the process of finding meaning in what is already around us. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Fine Art (NAS) and was the recipient of the Benina Hammond Award for Drawing (2026) and the Benina Hammond Award for Painting (2025).
