Rose Rigley

Rose Rigley’s practice begins with encounters that resist explanation. Working across sculpture, installation, participation and artist books, she follows material relationships with found objects, paper, wire and organic matter through processes of repetition, reconfiguration and return. Originally from Bribie Island, Queensland, Rigley now calls Far North Queensland home and is currently based in Sydney while completing her Master of Fine Art at the National Art School. She holds a BA (Fine Art) from Curtin University. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and recognised through awards, grants and residencies.
