Jasper Sewell is a Sydney-based artist whose work focuses on capturing the energy and atmosphere of nightlife spaces through dynamic, figurative paintings. Utilising fragmentation and expressive painterly qualities, Sewell aims to convey a sense of physical movement and a visual interpretation of musicality. Through depicting various expressions and states of being, Sewell seeks to create a hyper emotive range of experiences, illuminating the importance of leisure and connection, through contemporary times of increasing digital isolation.
