Alice Marden

Alice Marden (b. 2005) lives and works on Gadigal Land, Sydney. She completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School, majoring in Printmedia (2025), and is currently completing her Honours. Marden’s practice explores the relationship between the human body and built environments, investigating how architecture shapes, restricts, and contorts movement. Working across printmaking, photography, painting, and installation, she examines the physical and psychological experience of space. Her work has been exhibited at Lowe and Leckie Gallery, Alpha House Gallery, Tiliqua Tiliqua Gallery and Leichhardt Gallery. She has undertaken private commissions in Sydney and London, alongside professional experience at Cicada Press.
