Rhiannon Fuller

Rhiannon Fuller (b. 2005, Westmead, NSW) is an Australian abstract and representational artist residing in Eora/Sydney, currently completing her Honours at the National Art School. Majoring in painting, her practice aims to investigate symbols, patterns, and online imagery in response to internet culture. Rhiannon takes inspiration and found imagery from Pinterest and Instagram in which she utilises in random, but considered ways to slightly obscure the viewer’s understanding. Focusing on colour, layering, and the juxtaposition of translucent and opaque application, she recontextualises these found symbols and images in her simplified compositions.
