Josie Kearney

Josie Kearney (b. 2004, Orange) lives and works on unceded Gadigal Land, Sydney. She has established a practice across installation, sculpture, moving image, printmaking, and new media. Doubling functions as both a formal and perceptual condition. Projection and constructed environments filter, redirect and extend moving imagery, creating analogous conditions for looking.

Kearney is currently completing a BFA (Honours) at the National Art School, where she completed her BFA in 2025. Recent group exhibitions include ‘Twins’, Stamp Gallery (2026), Imprint: ‘Situated Knowledges’ (2026), and ‘Kudos Live’ with Kudos Arc & Performance Space, Carriageworks (2025).
