A conversation with David Stein within the exhibition Arthur Boyd: Landscape of the Soul.
 
David began working with the Arthur Boyd in the early 1990s. He has been restoring Boyd works for over 30 years, including some that are in the current exhibition. In conversation with NAS Gallery Manager and Curator Judith Blackall, David will  speak about some of Boyd’s techniques  including  tempera on board, printmaking, oil on canvas and works on paper. 
 
About David Stein: David has over 30 years of experience in the field of paintings conservation, having worked in both the public and private sector throughout Australia. He has been a conservator in  laboratories at the National Gallery of Australia, Art Gallery of New South Wales, National Gallery of Victoria and the Museum of Contemporary Art, and was touring paintings conservator for the NSW Regional Galleries Association.
