Wilamina (Willy) Russo spends her days talking with the Australian visual arts industry as a mentor and an arts broadcaster. In 2020 she found herself having conversations with artists about how to take the right next step in their career. It dawned on her after almost 20 years of working, she’d found her dream job. Helping artists navigate the sector as an artist mentor is the perfect marriage of her passion for art and her decade’s worth of experience in recruitment and human resources. ‘Interview With An Artist’, the weekly radio segment on 2ser 107.3FM and podcast, is a continuation of her passion for championing visual arts.
