Life Drawing Club

NAS LIFE DRAWING CLUB

The Life Drawing Club is open to everyone with an interest in exploring and practicing the art of life drawing. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, you’re welcome to take part.

Each session offers the opportunity to draw from a nude life model. Spencer White facilitates the sessions and models will hold a variety of short and extended poses to help you develop your skills.

Please note that this is a self-directed practice session, and no formal instruction is provided. Participants must bring their own drawing materials such as paper, pencils, charcoal etc.

The Neighbour at the Gate has been made possible with the generous support of the NSW Government through its Blockbusters Funding initiative.
Karatsu ceramicist Yukiko Tsuchiya (@tsuchiyayukiko) and curator Kathryn Hunyor (@artspeople_au) delivered two very special workshops in the teaching studios of the Ceramics Department at the National Art School (NAS), in an exciting collaboration between The Japan Foundation (@jpfsydney), Sydney, the NAS Ceramics Department and the National Art School.

Peek inside the wheel-throwing and hand-coiling masterclasses that took place.
