National Art – Part One

This significant exhibition has opened with a bang!

The Preview included great floor talks by Garry Shead, Justine Varga, Leslie Rice and Ken Done, while over 1,300 people attended the opening night. (go here for photos) ( link to FB page album). This is a major celebration of the National Art School and its significant contribution to Australian art. Both formative and signature works are included in the exhibition, and all works have been donated to the Collection of the National Art School.

Join us this Saturday for FREE artist talks:

SATURDAY 8 SEPTEMBER
2.30PM–3.30PM

Join exhibiting artists from National Art – Part One, Sophie Cape and Alan Jones for a FREE artist talk led by NAS Curator and Gallery Manager, Judith Blackall. The artists will speak about their works and time at the National Art School considering the theme, A Disquiet Landscape.
