NAS Postgrad Show 2023 is open!

Exhibition: Friday 3 – Sunday 12 November 2023, 11am–5pm

Visit NAS Galleries, The Drawing Gallery, and open studios to experience fresh, progressive and bold works from our outstanding class of 2023 – the next generation of Australian artists.

NAS is proud to present the work of our 2023 Master of Fine Art (MFA) graduate students and Graduate Diploma of Fine Art (GDFA) students.

Each year, the NAS Grad Shows buzz with anticipation and excitement to see the next wave of Australia’s best emerging talent. Come and join us as we celebrate their work across ceramics, drawing, painting, photomedia and printmaking and sculpture, exhibited throughout the NAS campus.

“We are enormously proud of all our BFA, MFA and DFA graduating students for 2023,” said NAS Director and CEO Steven Alderton. “Despite the disruptions over the past three years, their outstanding work shows they are ready to join the celebrated ranks of NAS alumni, who are among Australia’s most esteemed and accomplished artists of the past and present. These graduates represent the future.”

Lecturer Ceramics - Application Deadline Sunday 20 October

The Lecturer Ceramics is primarily responsible for teaching and supervision at all levels within the degree programs at NAS, including the development of appropriate teaching resources and related course administration within the Ceramics department. The role also requires a broad contribution to NAS operations including participation in School committees, events, student recruitment and promotional activities. You will have an excellent record of subject development and delivery in the field of Ceramics within a higher education setting.

We’re Hiring! Art Club provides an opportunity for young artists to grow their technical, conceptual, and intellectual skills, helping them further their studies in the creative field. Each program will be guided by one of our lecturers, all of whom are successful practicing artists. There are different disciplines that students can specialize in, from sculpture to painting.

This position is responsible for managing the current learning portal and overseeing the transition to a new SharePoint/LMS system, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, student-centric online learning experiences.
