It is NAS’ pleasure to feature in the current issue of Look magazine as part of their walking guide of Darlinghurst galleries.

Once home to arts students and a ragtag overflow from the Kings Cross red light district, Darlo (as it is affectionately known to locals) is now a densely packed arts precinct.

Look Magazine is a bi-monthly publication edited by arts journalist Susannah Smith, featuring a wealth of articles by curators and specialist writers, along with exclusive previews of Gallery exhibitions, events and acquisitions.

We’re looking for an Event Manager - Application Deadline Sunday 29 June

The Event Manager will have strong experience in hospitality, licensed venue operations, and event delivery. This role delivers a wide range of internal and external events, including Graduate Shows, Gallery Openings, Public Programs, Fundraisers, and Open Day. NAS also operates as a commercial venue, hiring the Cell Block Theatre for weddings, corporate events, and product launches.

A new student-led, artist-run initiative joined our campus!

‘Pinpoint’ student collective (@nas_pinpoint) reactivates the notice boards outside Building 27 printmaking facility with micro-exhibitions of student work, offering students a chance to share their practice in a low-pressure, highly visible way within the student community.
