Art commission opportunity for NAS graduate

Collaborate with a leading Sydney restaurant and design team.

Table Manners, a European neighbourhood restaurant is looking for a talented artist to become part of their journey.

This opportunity is open to all NAS alumni who have graduated in the last five years. The successful artist with receive a $10k fee in addition to cost of paints.

Please submit by Friday 28th June 2024 the following:

  • A curated selection of past works
  • Illustrate your developed concept for the space through sketches and/or imagery
  • Written statement outlining your concept and inspiration (max 150 words).

Karatsu ceramicist Yukiko Tsuchiya (@tsuchiyayukiko) and curator Kathryn Hunyor (@artspeople_au) delivered two very special workshops in the teaching studios of the Ceramics Department at the National Art School (NAS), in an exciting collaboration between The Japan Foundation (@jpfsydney), Sydney, the NAS Ceramics Department and the National Art School.
