FACILITIES AND RISK MANAGER
The position
The Facilities and Risk Manager effectively manages and organises services and resources for the facilities, security, WHS, and campus operations of National Art School sites. In addition, they provide leadership to the Facilities and Security teams; provides strategic support and advice to senior management on all issues related to facilities and campus operations of the National Art School.
What you bring to the role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will work as part of a close-knit team. The role involves day-to-day property and facilities management as well as larger project works across NAS. You have the ability build strong working relationships with all key stakeholders and have managed budgets, set forecasts and are number savvy. You will have excellent problem-solving skills with a proven capacity to exercise initiative and develop solutions. You will have good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, along with operational and facilities management experience with building services and infrastructure. ACADEMIC GOVERNANCE OFFICE
The position
The Academic Governance Officer plays a key role in academic administration at the National Art School, including Academic Governance and the management of academic quality assurance and course accreditation processes at NAS.
The Academic Governance Officer also provides support to the Academic Leadership Team including the coordination of academic staff development, residencies, internships and related academic events at NAS.

What you bring to the role
You will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, along with administrative experience in a higher education environment, including academic governance. You will have outstanding organisational skills, including a demonstrated ability to manage records, work to deadlines and prioritise tasks in a busy work environment. You will have excellent communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to summarise information concisely. You will have the ability to work independently, and also collaborate with others to achieve shared goals.

The position
Delivery of internal and external events, working collaboratively with staff and external parties to ensure both internal and external client needs and requirements are met. The nature of the events at the Cell Block Theatre and across the campus will require a flexible work schedule including weekend and evening work. There is a preference for applicants with a demonstrated understanding and use of audio-visual technology.
What you bring to the role
You are an events professional that is available to work casually on weekends and evenings as required. The work will be dependent on bookings and staffing requirements so will suit someone with a flexible schedule.
You will be confident in delivering events from intimate weddings through to large scale public events that are produced efficiently, timely, safely and to a high standard. You will have excellent organisational, communication skills and stakeholder management to ensure the event’s success and produce post event reports. You will have experience in working in a liquor licensed premises and be familiar with managing beverage sales, EFT takings and stocktaking. A high level of interpersonal and customer service skills to meet stakeholder needs, along with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team will ensure your success in this role. RSA and Driver’s License are essential.
