The National Art School is a 21st Century Art School committed to creating pathways to education and professional development for our students and emerging artists. We need your support to assist students throughout their entire NAS journey; from HSC Art to NAS graduate and postgraduate study, and to propel our alumni to become leading international artists.

As we approach the end of financial year, we invite you to make a tax-deductible donation to the National Art School and support the next generation of Australian artists

The National Art School welcomes support of all levels, and we are delighted to acknowledge individual donations of $1,000 and above as part of the NAS Patron Program.

All donations over $2 are fully tax deductible.

We’re looking for an Event Manager - Application Deadline Sunday 29 June

The Event Manager will have strong experience in hospitality, licensed venue operations, and event delivery. This role delivers a wide range of internal and external events, including Graduate Shows, Gallery Openings, Public Programs, Fundraisers, and Open Day. NAS also operates as a commercial venue, hiring the Cell Block Theatre for weddings, corporate events, and product launches.

We are seeking candidates with strong experience in the areas of extensive audit, governance or philanthropy experience, and strong art and education sector knowledge to join the National Art School Board of Directors. 

Our mission is to be a centre of excellence for the provision of higher education and research, scholarship and professional practice in the visual arts and related fields. Members of the Board play a vital role in long-term strategic planning and providing expert advice and support to the shareholding members and Director (CEO) on any matter relating to the school.
