To coincide with the National Art School Festival of Drawing, learn how to render extinct species in pencil, pen and watercolour as NAS Alumnus and Printmaking Lecturer Angus Fisher guides teachers through natural history illustration using the conventions of scientific drawing. Drawing from a range of reference material such as taxidermised species, photographs of extinct species and related living animals as well as natural physical subject matter, expand your understanding of observational drawing techniques to produce a small series of drawings that develop a narrative about animal and plant species.
