Justine Varga

Justine Varga’s recent exhibitions include Australian Invitational,
Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego 2019; Performing
Drawing, National Gallery of Australia, 2018; Grounded:
Contemporary Australian Art, NAS Gallery, 2017; and New Matter:
Recent Forms of Photography, Art Gallery of New South Wales,
2016. Varga received the 2017 Olive Cotton Award and the 2014
Museum of Contemporary Art Primavera Veolia Acquisitive Prize.
She has twice been awarded the Josephine Ulrick & Win Shubert
Photography Award, in 2013 and 2016. Her work has been acquired
for the collections of the National Gallery of Australia, Art Gallery of
New South Wales, and Art Gallery of South Australia, among others.
Varga is represented by Hugo Michell Gallery, Adelaide.
