Alan Jones

In addition to studying at NAS, Alan Jones has furthered his education abroad as the recipient of the 1997 Inaugural Pat Corrigan Travelling Art Scholarship and the 2004 Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship. Jones has also been awarded the 2008 Paddington Art Prize, 2010 Kedumba Drawing Award, 2011 Fisher’s Ghost Art Award, 2014 Kilgour Prize and 2015 Mosman Art Prize. He has been a finalist in the Sulman Prize, Wynne Prize and Archibald Prize numerous times. Public collections holding Jones’ work include the National Portrait Gallery and Art Gallery of South Australia.
